COV has been blessed with the presence of our lovely Shelby aka Shelbert. Shelby has been with the COV family since June 2023 when she was just 12 weeks old. Shelby celebrates her 1st birthday on 30th March 2024. Shelby provides comfort, affection and support to people accessing our services. She currently supports our education and mentoring services. Our next aim is to introduce her to our youth service for a game of football.

Shelby has passed her Bronze Level Kennel Club Good Citizenship Scheme Award. As a working German Shepherd she is very smart, and like us, loves to learn, Shelby will progress onto her Silver Award and aims to be a certified therapy dog by the age of 2 years.
