Protecting your mental health as we embrace the ‘new normal’ training.

Aptitude and COV have collaborated to bring you a CPD workshop that will teach you 4 immediately implementable top tips to not only improve your wellbeing but to use in your work supporting others. The combination of protective behaviours methodology, mental health first aid and positive psychology will provide you with some reminders of important aspects of self care, new knowledge of how to recognise stress and anxiety and what to do with those feelings in both yourself and others. 

Stacey is the founder of COV and an award-winning Protective Behaviours Trainer. Her mission is to educate all about the Protective Behaviours process and how it can help reduce victimisation and abuse, as well as supporting those that have been subjected to abuse.

Laura is co-founder of Aptitude Organisation CIC and is an accredited speaker and trainer in the field of mental health and is a qualified life and business coach. She has 20 years experience in therapeutic service/programme design and delivery to children, young people and adults.

In this 2 hour session you will learn:-

Top tips for identifying and responding to early warning signs in order to manage stress in yourself and others 

What an ’emotion coach’ is, how to be one and the importance of mastering this art to promote improved resilience levels

Practical ways to support someone who feels unsafe or overwhelmed

This session is suitable for anyone who works with young people or adults and wants to know more about the basic concepts of protective behaviours and mental health first aid. 

A certificate of attendance will be issued on completion.

We currently have two dates: 15th July & 5th August 1-3pm
